Health Department Continues Integrated Health Screening Campaign in Sector 25

The Health Department, U.T. Chandigarh today continued its Integrated Health Screening Campaign by organizing a health camp at Sector 25 Dispensary. The campaign aims to strengthen early detection of diseases and provide comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable and underserved communities.
The camp offered free screening for tuberculosis (TB), HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B & C, diabetes, hypertension and other health conditions. An NTEP Mobile Diagnostic Van was deployed at the site to provide digital chest X-rays, CBNAAT testing, counselling and TB awareness services.
Healthcare teams also conducted awareness sessions on communicable and non-communicable diseases. Participants were sensitized about the importance of early diagnosis, regular health check-ups, treatment adherence, healthy dietary habits and a healthy lifestyle. Information regarding various government health programmes and free treatment facilities was also shared with the beneficiaries.

The camp witnessed encouraging participation from local residents, who availed themselves of the free screening, diagnostic and counselling services.
