In a significant tribute to the revered mystic saint, Punjab’s Horticulture and Defence Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat on Friday inaugurated the newly renovated Satguru Kabir Chowk at Nakodar Road. The inauguration comes as a major highlight ahead of the 628th Satguru Kabir Ji Parkash Utsav celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister emphasized the Punjab Government’s devotion to honor historical and religious figures. He noted that the Punjab government has actively enhanced cultural landmarks, recalling how a newly renovated chowk dedicated to Satguru Ravidass Ji was similarly unveiled during his parkash purab earlier this year.

To mark the auspicious occasion of Satguru Kabir Ji’s birth anniversary, the Minister further stated that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was also organizing a grand state-level event on the evening of June 29. The celebration will take place at the Satguru Kabir Ji Mukhya Mandir in Bhargav Nagar.

Furthermore, a magnificent Shobha Yatra is also scheduled to commence on June 27 from the Satguru Kabir Mukhya Mandir in Bhargav Nagar, he said, inviting all devotees to join and seek blessings. The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished religious leaders, including Acharya Mahant Jagdish Das Ji and Mahant Ram Saran Ji, alongside temple committee members, chairmen, and prominent leaders from various shrines.

Highlighting Kabir Ji’s timeless message, "Avval Allah Noor Upaya, Kudrat Ke Sab Bande," Mr. Bhagat said that Punjab’s true beauty lies in its rich heritage of coexistence, communal harmony, and the celebration of such auspicious events by all the people collectively.
