Chairman of the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation, Dalvir Singh Dhillon, visited villages Kanjhli and Qila Hakima in the Dhuri Assembly constituency and interacted with residents during specially organized Lok Milni programmes. During the events, he listened to the concerns and grievances of villagers and apprised them of various public welfare schemes and citizen-centric policies being implemented by the Punjab Government.
Addressing the gatherings, Dalvir Singh Dhillon said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government remains committed to ensuring the welfare of every citizen and the holistic development of rural areas. He emphasized that sustained efforts are being made to extend the benefits of government initiatives to every section of society and that Lok Milni programmes have emerged as an important platform for strengthening the connection between the government and the people.
He further stated that these programmes not only create awareness about government schemes and services but also provide an opportunity for citizens to directly communicate their concerns. The issues raised by the people are being addressed on priority through the concerned departments, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Dhillon reiterated that the government is dedicated to transparent, accountable, and people-oriented governance, and such outreach programmes play a crucial role in bringing administration closer to the grassroots.
Among those present on the occasion were Councillor Pushpinder Sharma, Anil Mittal, Zila Parishad Member Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, Jagtar Singh Bagri, Narinder Singh, Sarpanch Sukhjit Singh, Block Samiti Member Jagseer Singh, Sarpanch Amrik Singh, Block Samiti Member Gurjit Singh, Subedar Sukhwant Singh, along with several other prominent residents and community leaders from the villages.
