As part of the Punjab Government's ongoing outreach efforts to connect with citizens and highlight its development agenda, a "Lok Milni" programme was organized in the villages of Balian and Batuha. The event provided a platform for direct interaction between public representatives and local residents.
During the programme, Dalvir Singh Dhillon, Chairman of the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation, met with villagers, listened to their views and concerns, and shared details of the Punjab Government's key achievements and welfare initiatives. Addressing the gathering, Chairman Dalvir Singh Dhillon stated that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has delivered unprecedented progress across various sectors during the last four years.
He said that extensive development works undertaken in the areas of road infrastructure, education, healthcare, power supply, and other essential public services have significantly improved the quality of life of the people and transformed the overall face of the constituency. Dhillon emphasized that the Punjab Government remains firmly committed to the welfare and prosperity of every section of society.
He added that the government is ensuring transparent governance and taking public services and grievance redressal mechanisms directly to the doorstep of citizens. He also urged residents to actively participate in government welfare programmes and take full advantage of the various citizen-centric schemes being implemented across the state.
Prominent persons present on the occasion included Pushpinder Sharma, Chairman, Trade Wing Dhuri; Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, Zila Parishad Member; Kuldeep Singh, Sarpanch of Balian; Jaswant Singh, Block President; along with a large number of village residents and local dignitaries.
