Shiromani Akali Dal Claims AAP’s Attempt to Build Narrative Around Bhagwant Mann Has Failed

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today said attempts by the ruling Aam Admi Party (AAP) to spread a false narrative regarding Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s deposition at Sri Akal Takht Sahib and its attempt to stage dharnas against the Shiromani Akali Dal had boomeranged.
Addressing a press conference here, SAD Chief Spokesman Arshdeep Singh Kler said AAP had attempted to gherao and stage protest at district headquarters of the SAD but its attempts failed miserably as they could not muster support of requisite numbers despite help from the police force. He said the videos emerging from different districts of the state had made it clear that only a meagre number of AAP workers assembled on the call of the party making the entire attempt a flop show.
The SAD leader said similarly when Sri Akal Takht Sahib had released the video of the deposition of the Chief Minister before the Takht, the latter accepted Sri Akal Takht’s directive to get his blasphemous video examined from two forensic laboratories.
He said even now only a couple of AAP leaders including Media incharge Baltej Pannu tried to defend the Chief Minister whereas majority of AAP leaders had chosen to remain mum. He said that after the deposition before Sri Akal Takht Sahib the Chief Minister had said that he had no objection on getting these videos examined from forensic labs as he claimed that these were fake and AI generated.
He said that when after examination from forensic labs, Akal Takht Sahib has declared these videos as genuine as per lab reports and declared Chief Minister ‘Guru Dokhi’ and ‘Panth Virodi’, the AAP government had come out with a new report which has claimed that the person in the video was not Bhagwant Mann.
He said that instead of accepting the verdict of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Chief Minister and entire machinery of AAP, which was famous for opposing Sikh causes, had started an exercise to work against the Takht Sahib.He said that fact of the matter was that Sri Akal Takht Sahib has declared Chief Minister guilty and he should humbly accept this verdict and submit to the Takht instead of creating an atmosphere of direct confrontation.
