CM Nayab Singh Saini Dedicates Development Projects Worth Rs. 75.37 Crore to Jhajjar Residents

CM inaugurates horticulture, education, administrative and drinking water projects

Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday visited village Munimpur in Jhajjar district on the auspicious occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, and inaugurated various development projects related to the Badli Assembly constituency.

The Chief Minister dedicated projects worth a total of Rs. 75.37 crore to the people of the region, giving a significant boost to development. Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana, BJP National Secretary Sh. Om Prakash Dhankhar, Ambassador of Israel to India Mr. Reuven Azar, and several other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

During the programme, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for Floriculture and Seed Production Technology established by the Horticulture Department in village Munimpur. Set up at a cost of Rs. 8.50 crore, this state-of-the-art centre aims to promote floriculture and the production of quality seeds. 

The centre will play a significant role in connecting farmers with modern technologies and creating new opportunities in the horticulture sector.Thereafter, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Mini Secretariat and its residential complex in Badli, built at a cost of Rs. 23.41 crore.

This project will strengthen administrative services and provide better facilities to the general public. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Horticulture Research Centre of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal, established in village Raiya at a cost of Rs. 13.27 crore.

The centre will prove beneficial in horticultural research, development of new varieties, and providing technical guidance to farmers. In a step towards strengthening the education sector, the Chief Minister also inaugurated new building projects for various schools.

The newly constructed building of the Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School in village Patoda, built at a cost of Rs. 9.71 crore, will provide students with a modern educational environment. New school buildings have also been completed at Government Senior Secondary School, Luhari, at a cost of Rs. 2.21 crore and Government Primary School, Khudan, at a cost of Rs. 2.46 crore.

Similarly, a new school building has been constructed at Government Senior Secondary School, Ukhalchana Kot, at a cost of Rs. 1.99 crore, while Rs. 6.41 crore has been spent on the new building of Government Senior Secondary School, Surheti. 

These projects will provide students with improved educational facilities.The Chief Minister also launched a new drinking water supply scheme for villages Sondhi and Nimana under a Public Health Engineering Department project costing Rs. 7.41 crore. 

The project will ensure the availability of clean and adequate drinking water to residents of both villages. Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government is committed to the balanced and holistic development of Haryana.

He said that ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in the queue remains the government's priority. He expressed confidence that these projects would provide fresh momentum to the social and economic development of the region.
