DC Minga Sherpa reviews progress of PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a review meeting with officers, empanelled vendors and representatives of agencies associated with the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana to assess the scheme's progress in the district. Executive Engineer JPDCL presented a status report covering total applications received, vendor allotments made, pending cases and solar panel installations completed so far.

JPDCL and empanelled vendors were directed to work in close collaboration to bridge the gap between applications received and pending installations, intensify door-to-door awareness campaigns on the scheme's benefits and expedite installation of pending solar rooftop systems to ensure timely completion of all allotted cases across the district.
