In the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s OSD Sukhvir Singh, Sarpanch Ravinder Kumar Rinka of village Hasanpur joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with his supporters. Welcoming the new members into the party, Sukhvir Singh said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has undertaken several landmark initiatives during the past four and a half years to fulfil the commitments made to the people.
He stated that the government has not only delivered on its electoral guarantees but has also launched numerous public welfare measures that were not originally part of its commitments. The decision to provide daytime electricity supply for agricultural motors and the extensive efforts to revive and strengthen the canal irrigation network, ensuring the availability of canal water up to farmers’ fields, have significantly benefited the agricultural sector.
Sukhvir Singh further highlighted that initiatives such as providing 600 units of free electricity to domestic consumers, health insurance coverage of up to ₹10 lakh per family under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, the Chief Minister Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana, and the distribution of ration kits to 4 million families have brought meaningful improvements in the lives of people.
He added that major reforms in education, healthcare, electricity, agriculture and social security have further strengthened the confidence of people in the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party. As a result, individuals from different political backgrounds and every section of society are continuously becoming part of the AAP family.
On the occasion, Sarpanch Ravinder Kumar Rinka said that he, along with his supporters, was inspired by the development works and public welfare initiatives undertaken in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and therefore decided to join the Aam Aadmi Party. He assured that he would work with complete dedication to take the party’s ideology and policies to every household.
Block Samiti Dhuri Chairman Ranjodh Singh Kanjhla, Kulwinder Singh Sidhu and other Aam Aadmi Party volunteers were also present on the occasion.
