In a significant development for the residents of Gurugram, the Haryana Government has taken a major step towards fulfilling a long-pending public demand by appointing the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) as the executing agency for the construction of the new Civil Hospital in the city.
Sharing details of the project, Haryana Health Minister Ms. Arti Singh Rao said that the state-of-the-art hospital will be constructed near the Police Lines in Gurugram. The ambitious healthcare project is estimated to cost approximately Rs. 1,054 crore and is aimed at substantially strengthening the region’s public healthcare infrastructure.

In the second phase, an additional 200-bed infrastructure will be added, expanding the hospital into a comprehensive and advanced medical institution capable of serving a much larger population in the years ahead. Ms. Arti Rao expressed her gratitude to Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini for facilitating the early initiation of this important project.
She said that once completed, the new Civil Hospital will significantly enhance healthcare accessibility and quality for lakhs of people residing in Gurugram and the surrounding areas.
