ASHA Workers Submit 9-Point Demand Charter to Arti Singh Rao

A high-level delegation of ASHA workers on Tuesday met Haryana Health Minister Smt. Arti Singh Rao in Chandigarh and submitted a 9-point charter of demands, highlighting their key issues and concerns. During the meeting, the Health Minister attentively heard the concerns raised by the delegation.
She appreciated the contribution of ASHA workers in strengthening the grassroots healthcare system and assured them that the government is fully sensitive and committed to addressing their issues. She categorically stated that all genuine demands of ASHA workers would be fulfilled at the earliest possible time.
Ms. Arti Singh Rao also issued on-the-spot directions to the Director of the National Health Mission (NHM), Haryana. She directed the Director to thoroughly examine all points mentioned in the 9-point demand charter, including technical aspects, and ensure prompt and appropriate action is taken without delay.
The Minister reiterated that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, is continuously working to strengthen the healthcare system and improve the working conditions of frontline health workers.
