Yudhvir Sethi inaugurates development works in wards 2 & 3, launches new projects worth Rs 25 lakh

Jammu East MLA Yudhvir Sethi on Monday inaugurated completed development works in Ward No. 3 and also started new development works worth Rs 25 lakh in Ward No. 2 in collaboration with the Public Works Department (PWD).
The MLA was accompanied by Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), Jammu and Kashmir Public Works (R&B) Department, Er. Arush Mahajan along with BJP leaders Ajesh Sharma, Shashikant Sapolia, Romesh Gupta, Preeti Sharma, Bindu Sharma, Sneah Sharma, Ruhi Gupta, Jyoti, Rajkumar, Dayaram Sharma and local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said that development of basic infrastructure remains his top priority and every ward of Jammu East constituency is being covered under planned developmental initiatives. He stated that works related to roads, lanes, drains and other civic amenities are being executed on priority to ensure better living conditions for the public.
The MLA said that the newly launched projects worth Rs 25 lakh in Ward No. 2 will help improve local infrastructure and address long-pending public demands. He added that the completed works in Ward No. 3 reflect the commitment of the administration towards providing quality development at the grassroots level.
“Public welfare and development are our foremost responsibilities. We are continuously working to ensure that people receive better civic facilities and that every locality witnesses visible progress,” Sethi said. He further assured residents that all genuine public issues would be addressed in a phased manner and no area of the constituency would be neglected.
He also appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration and executing agencies for timely completion of development projects. PWD officials present during the programme briefed the MLA and local residents about the ongoing and upcoming works in the area.
Local residents appreciated the efforts of the MLA and the department for initiating development projects aimed at improving civic infrastructure and public convenience. The programme concluded with interaction between the MLA and local residents, who also projected several developmental demands concerning their respective localities.
