OSD Sukhveer Singh, representing Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, carried out an extensive door-to-door campaign across Dhuri today, reaching households and engaging directly with residents while seeking support for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He said the development works undertaken over the past four years have transformed Dhuri, adding that the government has delivered on most of its key promises.

“It is on the basis of this performance that we are approaching the people and seeking their mandate,” he stated. Sukhveer Singh expressed confidence that in the Municipal Council elections scheduled for May 26, voters will come out in large numbers and support the AAP’s “broom” symbol.

He emphasized that each vote would be a vote for development, progress, and continuity of ongoing work. Highlighting the public response, he said that large turnouts at meetings and corner gatherings clearly indicate strong satisfaction with the party’s policies and governance.

“The overwhelming participation reflects growing public trust and signals a decisive mandate in favour of AAP,” he added. He further stated that voters are determined to elect a strong and committed team to the Municipal Council to ensure faster and more effective development in Dhuri.

According to him, the public mood in the city has become clearly one-sided in favour of AAP. Addressing opposition criticism, Sukhveer Singh said that attempts to mislead the public through false propaganda have failed. “People are aware and discerning.

They have rejected baseless allegations, which is evident from the strong support AAP candidates are receiving during grassroots interactions,” he said. He also claimed that opposition parties are struggling on the ground and have been unable to field strong candidates, while AAP continues to receive widespread public backing.

In conclusion, he thanked the residents of Dhuri for their support and urged them to cast their votes in large numbers on May 26 to further strengthen the pace of development in the city.
