Cabinet Minister Advocate Barinder Kumar Goyal stated that under the visionary leadership of AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the revolutionary reforms introduced by the Aam Aadmi Party government in the fields of health and education have transformed the direction and condition of Punjab.He said that under the “Education Revolution,” government schools are witnessing remarkable infrastructural improvements, while students are increasingly seeking admission to government schools because the future of students studying there is becoming brighter, and they are excelling in every field.
Cabinet Minister Advocate Barinder Goyal expressed these views while addressing journalists after specially honoring two meritorious students from government schools in the Lehra constituency, along with Municipal Council President and State President of Mahila Aggarwal Sabha, Mrs. Kanta Goyal. The honored students included Surinder Singh, son of Amar Das Singh, from Government Senior Secondary School Dudian, who secured 9th position in the state merit list in the recently declared Class 12 results, and Gagandeep Kaur from Government Senior Secondary School Shadihari/Raiderhana, who scored 485 marks out of 500 and secured 16th position in the state merit list.
Minister Goyal said it was a matter of pride that students from government schools in his constituency are excelling not only academically but also in other fields. He added that the Aam Aadmi Party’s education revolution is gaining recognition not only across India but also internationally. Various states in the country are adopting Punjab’s education model, and even foreign countries are implementing it.
He further said that the Punjab government is sending delegations of teachers abroad to receive training in educational reforms and modern teaching practices. Since the day the Aam Aadmi Party assumed power in Punjab, opposition parties have been struggling to maintain their political existence because the people of Punjab are no longer supporting divisive politics.
The minister stated that all government schools in Punjab are being equipped with modern facilities, adequate staff, and sports grounds. Special seminars are also being organized to motivate children toward education.
Parent-teacher meetings are regularly held so that parents can stay informed about their children’s academic progress and maintain direct interaction with teachers. Minister Goyal claimed that the day is not far when, under the capable leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab will become the number one state in the country in every field.
He added that the government has fulfilled all the promises made to the people and expressed confidence that the Aam Aadmi Party will once again return to power with a huge mandate in the 2027 Assembly elections and transform Punjab into a prosperous and vibrant state.
On this occasion, Narendra Goyal, OSD Rakesh Kumar Gupta Vicky, Harpal Singh (Coordinator, Lehra Constituency), Naib Singh from village Raiderhana, Sukhdarshan Sharma (Block Samiti Member), Ajaib Singh from village Raiderhana, school staff, along with other AAP leaders and volunteers, were also present.
