Mohammad Alyas Khan hands over Motorized Tricycles to Specially-Abled persons

Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today handed over specially designed motorized tricycles to five Specially-Abled Persons here at the District Administrative Complex. Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak and District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Sahil Bhagotra along with other officers of the district administration were also present on the occasion.
The motorized tricycles were provided by the Department of Social Welfare under its rehabilitation and welfare initiative for Specially-Abled Persons. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciatedĀ the Social Welfare Department for extending assistance to Specially-Abled Persons and ensuring that welfare schemes reach deserving beneficiaries across the district. It was informed that a total of 50 beneficiaries would be provided motorized tricycles in the coming days under the ongoing welfare initiative.
