OSD Sukhveer Singh Reviews Ongoing Infrastructure Development in Dhuri City

A comprehensive review of the ongoing development works and beautification projects in Dhuri city was conducted today during a high-level meeting held at the District Administrative Complex. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann’s OSD Sukhveer Singh along with Deputy Commissioner Punamdeep Kaur.

During the meeting, officials from various departments presented detailed progress reports regarding the execution of ongoing projects across the city. Addressing the officials, OSD Sukhveer Singh stated that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, Dhuri is being transformed into a modern model city equipped with improved civic amenities and upgraded infrastructure. 

He said that large-scale development works related to roads, sewerage systems, street lighting, parks, and other essential public facilities are being carried out on a war footing. He further directed the concerned departments to ensure speedy execution of all projects, emphasizing that any negligence or unnecessary delay in development works would not be tolerated.

Deputy Commissioner Punamdeep Kaur reiterated that all ongoing projects must be completed within the stipulated timeframe while strictly maintaining quality standards. She emphasized that there would be no compromise on the quality of work and continuous monitoring of every project would be undertaken to ensure that residents receive better and modern civic facilities.

Among those present in the meeting were ADC (General) Ankur Mahindru, ADC (Rural Development) Sukhchain Singh, SDM Dhuri Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh, Chief Minister Field Officer Arvind Kumar, along with officials from various departments, who also apprised the meeting about the current status and progress of the ongoing projects.
