Reaffirming the Punjab Government’s strong commitment to public welfare, OSD Sukhveer Singh today distributed financial assistance amounting to ₹20.40 lakh among 60 needy families during a function held in Dhuri. The aid was provided under the Chief Minister Relief Fund to support poor and deserving families facing financial hardship.
Interacting with the beneficiaries on the occasion, OSD Sukhveer Singh listened to their concerns and assured them that the government remains dedicated to the welfare of every section of society. He said the Chief Minister Relief Fund has emerged as a vital support system for families grappling with unforeseen crises and economic distress.
Highlighting the government’s approach, he stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, assistance is being delivered to eligible beneficiaries through a transparent, efficient, and time-bound process, ensuring that no deserving individual is left out or burdened with procedural delays. He added that such initiatives not only provide immediate relief but also strengthen public trust and reinforce the government’s connect with the people.
He further urged citizens in need to approach the SDM office and avail themselves of the benefits under the Chief Minister Relief Fund without hesitation. Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included SDM Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh, CMFO Arvind Kumar, Waqf Board Member Dr. Anwar Bhasaur, Zila Parishad Member Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, Director, Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation Anil Mittal, Raman Deep Singh, Director Pushpinder Sharma, and Block President Naresh Singla, along with other officials and community representatives.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government, stating that the financial assistance has provided much-needed relief and will help them meet their essential needs with dignity.
