Barinder Kumar Goyal inaugurates construction of 3 roads worth ₹4.12 crore in villages Ramgarh Sandhuan and Bhai Ki Pishaur

As part of the Punjab Government’s ongoing efforts for the holistic development of villages, Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal inaugurated the construction of three important road projects in the villages of Ramgarh Sandhuan and Bhai Ki Pishaur in the Lehragaga constituency. Speaking on the occasion, Goyal stated that three roads are being constructed in the Lehragaga area at a total cost of ₹4.12 crore.
These projects will provide improved transportation facilities to residents and strengthen connectivity among the villages. Providing details, he said that a 3.62-kilometer-long road from village Ramgarh Sandhuan to Nangla, up to Shiv Mandir, will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹1.73 crore.
Additionally, a 2.65-kilometer-long road from Khai Ramgarh Sandhuan Road to Khai Adarkwas Road will be built at a cost of approximately ₹1.34 crore. Furthermore, a 2.21-kilometer-long road from the phirni (peripheral road) of village Bhai Ki Pishaur to Samadh Bhanguan will be constructed at a cost of around ₹1.05 crore, providing significant relief to local residents.
The Cabinet Minister emphasized that the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen basic infrastructure in rural areas. He added that these road projects will not only improve transportation but also boost agricultural and commercial activities in the region.
He also directed officials to ensure that all work is completed within the stipulated timeframe and meets high-quality standards so that the public can benefit at the earliest. A large number of villagers were present on the occasion and appreciated the government’s initiative.
