Barinder Kumar Goyal dedicates sports ground built at a cost of ₹62 lakh in village Raidharana to the public

With the objective of encouraging youth towards sports and strengthening modern sports infrastructure in villages, Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal today dedicated a newly constructed sports ground, built at a cost of ₹62 lakh, to the public in village Raidharana. On this occasion, he said that the Punjab Government is committed to the development of sports and continuous efforts are being made to provide better facilities to players at the village level. 

He added that this sports ground will provide a good platform for youth to hone their talent and will also help in keeping them away from drugs. The Cabinet Minister further stated that the youth of Punjab have great enthusiasm for sports, and the government is making consistent efforts to further strengthen this enthusiasm by providing modern sports facilities at the district and village levels. 

He appealed to the youth to actively participate in sports and bring laurels to their village, district, and the state. During the event, villagers and players expressed their gratitude to the Cabinet Minister and assured that the sports ground would be fully utilized.

Officials from the local administration, village representatives, and a large number of youth were present on the occasion.
