Sukhveer Singh, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister, conducted a public outreach programme (Jan Milni) in Ward No. 5 of Dhuri, engaging directly with residents to understand and address their concerns. A large number of locals participated in the interaction, sharing issues related to their daily lives.
The OSD assured prompt and sustainable resolution, issuing necessary directions to the concerned officials on the spot. Addressing the gathering, Sukhveer Singh stated that key civic issues—including road repairs, sewerage, drinking water supply, street lighting, and sanitation—are being resolved on a priority basis.
He highlighted that development works across Dhuri city are progressing at a war footing, with a strong emphasis on strengthening essential infrastructure in every ward. He added that projects related to new roads, sewerage systems, water supply, and cleanliness drives are being executed swiftly to enhance the overall quality of life.
He further stated that the Aam Aadmi Party has fulfilled the guarantees made to the people of Punjab prior to the elections. In Dhuri as well, development is being carried out on a large scale, and the long-pending demand for a Railway Overbridge (ROB) has now been set in motion.
Emphasizing the government’s commitment, Sukhveer Singh noted that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is personally overseeing development works in the Dhuri constituency and regularly reviewing progress with officials to ensure timely and efficient execution. He reiterated that the government remains dedicated to delivering transparent, accountable, and corruption-free governance. He also urged citizens to actively participate in the development of their locality and to approach the government directly with any issues or suggestions.
Among those present on the occasion were Munish Jindal (Rinku), Block President Naresh Singla, Anil Mittal, Pushpinder Sharma, Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, along with other prominent leaders and a large number of residents, who expressed satisfaction with the ongoing development initiatives.
