AAP State Chief Spokesperson, MLA, and former Punjab Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal attended high-profile ceremonies today as the chief guest to formally induct the newly elected leadership of Block Samitis in the Ajnala constituency. The inductees included Bibi Savinder Kaur (Chairperson, Ajnala), S. Sarabjit Singh (Vice-Chairman, Ajnala), S. Prithipal Singh Wahla (Chairman, Ramdas), and Bibi Palvinder Kaur (Vice-Chairperson, Ramdas).

While honoring the new officials and offering his best wishes, S. Dhaliwal emphasized that along with Gram Panchayats, the members and chairpersons of Zila Parishads and Block Samitis are vital to rural development, just as Municipal Corporations are to urban growth.

Key Highlights of the Address:

* *Bridging the Rural-Urban Divide:* S. Dhaliwal stated that the previous Congress and Akali-BJP governments created a massive gap between urban and rural infrastructure. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government has implemented a concrete vision to develop villages as "self-reliant and model units," significantly reducing the forced migration of rural citizens to cities.

* *No Dearth of Funds:* He assured that there is no shortage of grants for both rural and urban development projects.

* *Sports and Health Infrastructure:* To promote a sports culture across Punjab, model playgrounds are being constructed in dozens of villages at a cost of *₹3,100 crore. Additionally, 3 crore citizens are receiving unconditional free health insurance coverage up to *₹10 lakh**.

* *Electricity and Education Revolutions:* By providing *600 units of free electricity* to domestic consumers regardless of caste or category, the government is providing a financial benefit of approximately ₹5,000 per consumer. He also highlighted the global standard being brought to government school infrastructure and the opening of Aam Aadmi Clinics for free healthcare.

* *Social Welfare:* Financial assistance of *₹1,000 per month* for general category women and *₹1,500 per month* for Dalit women is being provided. Over 4 lakh Smart Card holders are receiving free wheat along with essential kitchen items like sugar, tea leaves, oil, and salt.

* *Law, Order, and Investment:* Through "Operation Prahar" and a decisive war against drugs and gangsterism, the state has strengthened communal harmony. S. Dhaliwal claimed that Punjab has become a global center of attraction, leading multinational companies to invest in the state, which will create employment for lakhs of youth.
