Infrastructure Boost Worth ₹1.49 Crore at Schools in Bhasaur and Dhaddogal

In a significant push to strengthen school infrastructure, newly constructed classrooms, boundary walls and other facilities at the School of Eminence, Bhasaur and Government Girls High School, village Dhaddogal were inaugurated today. The works have been completed at an approximate cost of ₹1.49 crore.

The inauguration was carried out by Chairman Dalvir Singh Dhillon, In-charge, CM Camp Office, and Chairman Rajwant Singh Ghulli, in the presence of Education Wing Constituency Coordinator Darshan Singh Pathak. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has set new milestones in the education sector.

They highlighted that government schools in the state are now emerging as frontrunners at the national level in terms of quality education. Darshan Singh Pathak stated that strengthening school infrastructure will significantly enhance the learning environment and provide better opportunities for students.

He added that the state government has ensured modern facilities such as libraries, science labs, computers and touch-screen panels to make learning more effective and accessible. He further informed that 310 new computers and 71 digital screens have been dedicated to schools in the Dhuri Assembly constituency, marking a major step towards digital learning.

The speakers emphasized that alongside infrastructure development, all necessary educational facilities are being ensured in government schools so that students can benefit from modern, technology-driven education. They also noted that teachers are being sent abroad for world-class training, enabling them to bring global best practices into classrooms.

Reiterating the government’s commitment, they assured that every possible support will continue to be extended to schools in the Dhuri constituency to further improve educational standards and student outcomes. Prominent among those present on the occasion included social worker Paramjit Singh Bhindi, Principal Arjinder Pal Singh, Block Nodal Officer Vipin Kumar Garg, Bharpoor Singh, Bharti Sharma, Atma Singh, Dr. Avtar Khan, Khushwinder Singh, Lecturer Daljit Singh, the Sarpanch of Bhasaur, members of the SMC committee, school staff, parents and students.
