Nayab Singh Saini makes several announcements at Unnat Sinchai Utsav- 2026

Tosham government hospital to be upgraded to 100 beds, new BDPO building also to be constructed

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday made a series of important announcements related to health, roads, and agriculture for the Tosham constituency during the Unnat Sinchai Utsav-2026 held in Tosham, Bhiwani. The Chief Minister said that the existing 50-bed hospital in Tosham will be upgraded to a 100-bed facility after a feasibility assessment. 

In village Dinod, under the Swarn Jayanti Mahagram Yojana, a sewage system and water supply expansion project will be taken up. Upon provision of land by the Panchayat, a STP will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 97.96 crore. 

He also announced an additional Rs. 5 crore specifically for development works in rural areas of the constituency. He further announced the construction of a new building for the BDPO office in Tosham. 

Additionally, a 33 kV sub-station will be set up in village Mansarbass, subject to land being provided by the Panchayat. Mini sports stadiums will also be developed in villages as desired by Cabinet Minister Smt. Shruti Choudhry.

The Chief Minister also announced the early introduction of the Science stream in the government college at Kairu, repair of sheds in Tosham grain market, and construction of a new Market Committee office. He added that similar shed and office construction works will be undertaken in the grain market of Jui.

On road infrastructure, he said that around 22.14 km of roads under Market Committee jurisdiction, including Mandhan to Rodha, Mandhan to Devawas, Mandhan to Isarwal, Khava to Rodha, Rodha to Sahlewala, and Malwas to Kohar—will be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs. 11 crore.

Similarly, under the Public Works Department, several roads will be renovated and widened. These include Bijlanwas to Kundal, Mansarwas link road, Golpura road extensions, Golagarh link road, Lahlana to Golpura, Devsar School link road, Hansi–Tosham road to Kirawar routes, Patodi to Sandwa, and several others covering about 61 km across 19 roads. This will cost approximately Rs. 56.40 crore.

In addition, 170 km of 42 roads will be repaired at a cost of Rs. 95 crore. He also announced repair works for 13 Market Committee roads in the Tosham-Bhiwani area, covering 47.37 km.

The Chief Minister further announced the construction of pucca roads for 25 km of rural farm-to-field link roads in the Tosham constituency, along with maintenance work for 23 other roads in the region. Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the government has formulated several welfare schemes for all sections of society and is implementing them with full transparency. 

He assured that no effort will be spared in the development of the Bhiwani region.
