School Buildings in Badli Area Largely Sound; Repairs, New Construction Planned: Mahipal Dhanda

Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said that the buildings of Government Senior Secondary and Primary Schools in villages Tumbaheri, Subana and Dawla of Badli Assembly constituency in Jhajjar district are in good condition as per norms. The Minister was replying to a question on the last day of the Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that in the Government Senior Secondary School of village Kasni in Jhajjar, a 6-classroom building is in good condition, while 7 rooms are in a dilapidated condition. For their reconstruction, an estimate of Rs. 89.52 lakh has been received on March 12, 2026, which is under consideration by the department.
The budget in this regard will be released in the upcoming financial year 2026–27. He said that in village Dadanpur, the Government Senior Secondary and Primary Schools have buildings as per norms and are in good condition.
The Government High and Primary School in village Khungai is also in good condition. Similarly, the Government Senior Secondary and Primary Schools in village Pelpa are in good condition. He further said that in the Government Senior Secondary School of village Munda Khera, three laboratories and one library room are in good condition, while some rooms are in a dilapidated condition which requires repairing, for this an estimate of Rs. 113.35 lakh has been received on March 12, 2026, and is under consideration by the department.
The budget for this will also be released in the upcoming financial year 2026–27. He said that the building of the Government Primary School, Mundakhera, has been declared unsafe by the Public Works Department.
