Railway Underpass Proposed at Kosli Station Market, Rs. 5.20 Cr Approved: Ranbir Gangwa

Haryana Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said that a railway underpass has been proposed at the market area of Kosli Railway Station where the railway line passes through. The government has granted administrative approval of Rs. 520.15 lakh for the construction of the railway underpass.

The Minister was replying to a question raised by a member during the ongoing Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today. The Minister said that the General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) was approved by the Railways on December 27, 2021. 

However, due to the presence of built-up areas along the proposed approach roads, local residents and shopkeepers had opposed the approved alignment. The revised General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) was submitted to the Railways on on March 2. 

Now, the detailed design will be submitted to the Railways, and after its approval, further action for execution of the work will be initiated.
