Ashok Kumar Sharma reviews implementation of Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0, KPIs in Aspirational Block Mankote

District Development Commissioner Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress achieved under Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0, launched in Mankote under the Aspirational Block Development Programme.

The meeting focused on reviewing the achievements recorded against the six targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified under the campaign. Detailed discussions were held regarding department-wise activities, field-level interventions and outreach initiatives undertaken during the month of February to accelerate development outcomes in the Aspirational Block.

Taking sector-wise assessment, the DDC emphasised inter-departmental convergence, intensified field monitoring and proactive grassroots engagement to ensure the timely saturation of all targeted indicators. Speaking at the meeting, the DDC said “Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0 represents a focused and time-bound mission aimed at ensuring that essential services and government schemes reach every eligible beneficiary in aspirational regions.”

He stressed that all departments must work in close coordination and adopt a mission-mode approach to achieve the targeted KPIs within the stipulated timeframe. The DDC also highlighted the importance of data-driven monitoring, community participation and regular field visits by officers to strengthen last-mile service delivery and address implementation gaps at the grassroots level.

Further, he directed the concerned departments to intensify awareness campaigns, strengthen beneficiary outreach and ensure real-time tracking of progress to enable effective implementation and measurable outcomes under the campaign.

The district officers and representatives from the line departments attended the meeting and presented updates on the progress achieved, challenges encountered and the roadmap for achieving saturation of all six KPIs under Sampoornata Abhiyaan 2.0.
