Three buses from district flagged off for Amritsar under Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra

Devotees depart from Majri, Behra and Phase-11

Under the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra scheme, three buses carrying devotees from different parts of the district were flagged off for Amritsar today. The buses departed from Majri, Behra and Phase-11 areas.

Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that these constituency-wise buses from the district have been flagged off for the third time and the pilgrimage is completed over a period of three days. During the visit, devotees are taken for darshan at Sri Darbar Sahib, Durgiana Temple and Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal. 

The itinerary also includes visits to Jallianwala Bagh and the Wagah Border. She added that arrangements for transportation, accommodation and meals during the pilgrimage are being fully managed by the Punjab Government to ensure a comfortable journey for the devotees.
