Sunam City Gets Major Boost: Development Projects Worth ₹3.68 Crore Launched to Improve Basic Amenities

Work on streets, drains, and tiling started in about 9 wards

A new chapter has been added to the mission of providing all kinds of basic facilities to the people of the Sunam Assembly Constituency. Punjab Cabinet Minister and constituency MLA Aman Arora recently initiated development works worth 3 crore 68 lakh 47 thousand rupees in various wards of Sunam city, which will provide great relief to the city residents.

Aman Arora, while sharing the information, said that continuous efforts are being made by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to bring the wave of development to every individual in the constituency. He said that to repay the immense love and support received from the constituency residents, he is working with full commitment. 

These development works will play an important role in making the lives of the city people more comfortable.He said that these development works include the inauguration of rooms constructed at a cost of 13.78 lakh rupees at Sati Shivala Temple on Jakhepal Road; the start of new works for streets, drains, and tiling worth 1 crore 47 lakh rupees in Wards No. 8, 9, and 10 at Fateh Nagar Bakhshiwala; the start of new works worth 40.43 lakh rupees in Ward No. 22 near H-9 Hotel on Pir Banna Banoi Road; the start of new works worth 43.26 lakh rupees in Ward No. 13 at Regar Dharmshala; the laying of the foundation stone for a gate worth 12 lakh rupees on Geeta Bhawan Road; and the start of development works worth 1 crore 12 lakh rupees in Wards No. 2, 5, and 7 at Chowk Mahantan Da Dera.

Aman Arora further said that these works will not only enhance the beauty of the city but also eradicate the problems of streets and drains from the root, providing people with a clean and safe environment. He assured that in the coming time, more such projects will be started for the development of the constituency.

On this occasion, Nishan Singh Tony, President of Municipal Council Sunam; Mukesh Juneja, Chairman of Market Committee Sunam; Jatinder Jain, Media Coordinator; Sunny Kansal; Chamkaur Handa; Bittu Talwar; Bhanu Pratap; Manpreet Bansal; and a large number of people were present, and they appreciated the development works being carried out by MLA Aman Arora.
