Dr. Ajay Gupta Renovates Road from Cairo Market to Town Hall

MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta from the Central Assembly constituency today renovated the road from Cairo Market to Town Hall. MLA Dr. Gupta stated that complaints had been received about this historic road, and construction work on the road has been initiated today. 

He stated that thousands of devotees travel daily on this historic road to pay obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib. The completion of the road will provide convenience to the devotees and shopkeepers along this road. He added that construction of the Cairo Market road has also been initiated today.

MLA Dr. Gupta stated that development work is ongoing in the Central Assembly constituency. He stated that wherever complaints of development deficiencies are received in the Central Assembly constituency, development work is initiated there. He stated that work is underway to repair broken roads and streets. 

He added that work has already been done to install sewerage and drinking water pipes.  He said that people in the area can contact him or Aam Aadmi Party volunteers directly if they have any problems. MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta said that the Punjab government is inaugurating the newly constructed Heritage Street leading to Sri Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. 

He stated that the newly constructed Heritage Street will be inaugurated on December 7th. He added that work will also begin on renovating four important roads leading to Sri Darbar Sahib. He said that Maha Singh Road, Shera Wala Gate Road, Ghee Mandi Road, and Ramsar Road, leading to Sri Darbar Sahib, will be widened and beautified. 

He added that no power lines will be visible on these four roads. Councillors Jarnail Singh Dhod, Narendra Pal Singh Dhod, Sajan Kumar, Vicky Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Sudesh Kumar, and shopkeepers from the area were also present on the occasion.
