Deputy Commissioner Mr T Benith and SSP Mr Sarfaraz Aalam today reviewed the arrangements at for Hind Di Chadar show - deducted to martyrdom of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji - on Nov 14 at Baba Kala Mehar Stadium. The show will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm bringing legacy and martyrdom of Guru Sahiban alive. 

Deputy Commissioner Mr T Benith said that under leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has heralded in unmatched initiatives to remind people about the Supreme sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. He appealed all residents of the district to attend this historic light and sound show named Hind Di Chadar along with their families and friends at Baba Kala Mehar Stadium Barnala. 

He added that this heart felt tribute to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji will include 45 minutes show with a prelude of performances by Dhadhi Jatha. Mr T Benith added that the entrance for show shall begin at 5:30 pm on Nov 14. No passes are required for attending the show. 

The event is open for everyone. Deputy Commissioner said that Minister Mr Harpal Cheema, Minister Mr Aman Arora and MP Mr Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer shall also be watching the show with public. 

He said that a number of school students, youth clubs, villagers, panchayats, municipal councilors, senior citizens and people from all walks of life will attend the show. SSP Mr Sarfaraz Aalam said stated that for public convenience, adequate facilties for parking, law and order situation and security have been made. 

During the inspection, SDM Barnala Madam Sonam, ADC (D) Savinder Singh and other senior officers of various departments were present.
