Special Light and Sound Show dedicated to 350 Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to be held in Barnala on 14 November: T Benith

Observing the 350 years of martyrdom of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, the Punjab government is holding a special light and sound show on November 14 at Baba Kala Mehar Stadium, Barnala. Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr T Benith said while presiding over a meeting convened to discuss arrangements for the event. SSP Barnala Mr Sarfaraz Aalam and other senior officers from all departments were present. 

Deputy Commissioner said that Minister Mr Harpal Singh Cheema, Minister Mr Aman Arora and MP Mr Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer shall be gracing the occasion. The forest department was directed to ensure that all the trees and shrubs are pruned at the site of program. Similarly, the power department was directed to ensure that there were no low hanging wires in and around the vicinity. 

The police has been directed to make proper parking and security arrangements for the sangat that will come to watch the show. District Mandi Board and nagar council Barnala has been directed to ensure proper drinking water supply, toilets and cleanliness of the city. 

Health department was directed to to put up a first aid cubicle for people.Deputy Commissioner called upon the residents of district to watch the show with their children so that the young generation knows about legendary contribution of Guru Sahiban in ensuring peace and harmony in the society.

ADC (G) Madam Anuprita Johal, SDM Barnala Madam Sonam and other senior functionaries of various departments were present.
