On the occasion of Vishwakarma Day, Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal extended greetings to the people while addressing gatherings held at Lehal Kalan, Raidhraana, Lehra khai Basti, and Lehra Mandi, among other places.
Goyal said that Lord Vishwakarma is revered as the divine architect of the universe, who made an immense contribution to the art of designing and creating all kinds of machinery and tools used in industrial activities.He called upon the people to follow in the footsteps of this great deity, stating that the teachings of Lord Vishwakarma inspire everyone to work with dedication and commitment towards progress and development.
The Minister added that, following the ideology and teachings of Lord Vishwakarma, Punjabis across the world have made significant contributions to the socio-economic development of various countries, thereby proving their skill and capability on the global stage.
Goyal urged industrialists to pledge themselves to the cause of skill development, describing it as a true tribute to Lord Vishwakarma. He said such initiatives would not only help generate employment opportunities for the youth but also play a crucial role in the overall development of the state.
He further stated that the Punjab Government is fully committed to restoring the state’s past glory and is leaving no stone unturned in this noble mission. He added that the state government has already taken several people-friendly and development-oriented steps in this regard.
On this occasion, President of the Nagar Council, Lehra, Kanta Goyal; Chairman of the Market Committee, Lehra, Mr. Shishpal Anand; Master Harpal Singh from Saheliyan Kalan; Sarpanch Jaspal Singh Kala from village Lehal Kalan; Dr. Sharma from village Raidharana; Aam Aadmi Party’s youth leaders from Lehra constituency, Hardeep Singh Kaler and Gurmeet Singh Sarao; Ram Singh Mistri, Bant Singh Mistri, Gurdev Singh Mistri, Jaswant Singh Happy, and P.A.
