Road development in full swing across Amritsar North

Ongoing premix work to ensure smooth connectivity: Karamjit Singh Rintu

Chairman of the Amritsar Improvement Trust and Aam Aadmi Party In-charge for Amritsar North Assembly Constituency, Karamjit Singh Rintu, today inaugurated a road construction project at Kacheri Chowk. Rintu stated that the work of laying premix on roads across Amritsar North is progressing at a fast pace. Roads in every ward are being repaired and resurfaced to provide citizens with smoother and safer commuting.

He added that the road construction work will continue for the next two months and not a single road will be left incomplete. Rintu affirmed that the pace of development in the North constituency will not be allowed to slow down, and that every street and locality will benefit from these ongoing works.

Addressing recent challenges, he mentioned that some work was temporarily delayed due to sanitation-related issues, but those problems have now been fully resolved. In coordination with the Sanitation Department, municipal machinery and private tractor-trolleys were deployed to personally oversee and improve the city’s cleaning system.

Rintu further informed that the city’s sanitation work has now been assigned to a new company, which will begin operations with full machinery within the next 20–25 days. He reiterated his commitment to providing all basic civic amenities—roads, sanitation, water supply, and lighting—to the residents of Amritsar North.
