Ashok Kumar Sharma reviews performance of Banks at DLRC meeting

District Development Commissioner, Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to review the performance of Banks under Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for the Quarter ended June 2025 of FY 2025-26 and the progress achieved under Government sponsored employment generation schemes.

At the outset, Sanjeev Rasotra Lead District Manager  informed the house that different Banks operating in the district have achieved Total business of Rs. 6446.91 Crores  with the Deposits went up from Rs.3848.73 Crore as on 30 June 2024 to Rs.4197.38 Crore as on 30 June 2025 showing a YoY growth of 9.1%.

Similarly, the Advances have risen from Rs.2089.96 Crores as on 30 June 2024 to Rs.2249.53 Crore as on 30 June 2025 showing YOY growth of 7.64%, while the CD ratio stands at 53.59% as on June 30, 2025.

It was further informed that till June 30, 2025, the Banks operating in the district made total credit disbursement of Rs.330.48 Crore, against annual target of Rs.905.60 Crore thereby achieving 36% of the target. The credit disbursement of Rs.122.10 crores was made under Priority sector against the target of Rs.702.31 crores thereby achieving 17% of the target.

The Chairman DLRC Ashok Kumar Sharma directed all the stakeholders to improve priority sector lending in different Govt sponsored schemes Like Mission Yuva so that unemployed youth can attain self-sufficiency through the self-employed schemes of Central and state Govt. 

The Chairman further directed the sponsoring agencies and lending institutions to improve performance under priority sector. PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna scheme of Govt was also discussed and the Banks were directed to increase lending to achieve the full potential of Solar Power.

The DC further stressed on the effective implementation of Social security schemes like PM Suraksha Bima Yojna, PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna to benefit marginalized population.
