Book Fair packed with e-books and e-courses, Kumar Vishwas pays visit

The Delhi Book Fair successfully carried on to its sixth day today. The day observed many exciting events hosted by various organizations and publishing houses. The stalls were abuzz with eager literary lovers and the weather added to the charm.A major attraction of the Delhi Book Fair 2014 would be the educational tools that have been introduced for students as well as professionals. Many stalls are offering e-books, online courses, supplement books, study guides and even mobile applications that make learning simpler and fun. The Skills Academy is one such institution that imparts training and tools on emotional intelligence, communication skills, self skills and marketing skills. Over a period of 13 years, they have trained more than 1,50,000 people including executives from public and private sectors, lecturers, professors, school teachers and students. The Skills Academy has also served many Universities and colleges by providing their students with placement skills.

Related books such as “Change the Way You Speak”, “Get Selected at Job Interviews”, “Winning with People” and “Know When Someone Lies to You’ are their best-sellers written by Mr. Prabbal Frank, well known corporate trainer, author and management expert.Akshar Books Publication hosted a book release function. The book “Petals” is a creation of Miss Shruti Mala Duara from Tripura. The event was inaugurated by the Director of National Books Trust (NBT), Mr. M.A. Sikander. The spokesperson for the programme was Mrs. Sharmila Abraham, a famous public consultant. The author, Ms. Duara also held a poem-recital session. “The main motive of releasing the book in the Delhi Book Fair was because we want people to know and appreciate her writing. The fragrance  of the north-east should reach out”, stated Mr. Subhabrata Deb, Publisher of Akshar Books Publications.

Diamond Pocket Books organized an Author Meet with Mr. Kumar Vishwas. The famous poet and author of “Koi Deewana Kehta Hai” interacted with many of the readers and personally signed the books. Also, Bhartiya Jnanpith organized an interactive discussion on literary journalism. It was attended by renowned journalists from print and electronic media.The Federation of Indian Publishers are organizing an on-the-spot painting competition on the 30th of August, 2014. All children under the age groups of 5-10 years and 10-16years are invited to participate. The special chief guest for the programme will be Mr. Pravesh Sahib Singh, M.P. of West Delhi. The winners and runner-ups of the competition will be rewarded with special prizes. It will be held in front of the VIP Lounge, Hall no. 10 of Pragati Maidan.
