Minister of State for Power, Vikar Rasool informed the House that improvement of LT and HT network is being carried out under HT/LT improvement scheme in the State adding that in this regard Rs one crore to each district was released during last financial year. He said that improvement of power infrastructure has been taken up under R-APDRP in all towns of the State.Replying to a question by Mohammad Irfan Shah, the Minister informed the House that Rs 14 lakh have been expended on HT/LT improvement in Batmaloo Constituency during last financial year. The Minister informed the House that up-gradation of power infrastructure in developing colonies of Srinagar city are being covered under R-APDRP, for which the works have already been allotted. Legislators, Mr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma and Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma raised supplementaries and demanded Upgradation of power scenario in their Constituencies. (KNS)
