Govt to establish 7697 sale depots: Ch. Mohammad Ramzan

Minister for CA&PD and Transport, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan has said that to provide hassle free ration to the consumers the Government is contemplating to establish 7697 new Government Controlled Sale Depots in the State.Replying to a question by Peerzada Mansoor Hussain today in the House, he said in this regard the departmental functionaries are strictly directed to classify such localities transparently and as per the norms fixed for the purpose.

The Minister informed that 507376 families are without ration cards as per census of 2011 in the State. He also gave details of ration card holders in Shangus Constituency.The Minister said that State is getting ration quota as per census of 2002 and is vigorously pursuing to get the ration from the Centre as per the census of 2011.The Minister said that 3 Gazetted, 472 Non-Gazzetted and 702 Class IV posts are lying vacant in CA&PD department which have been referred to the concerned recruitment agencies for selection.
