Today, Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj Ji visited the Central Degree College, Chittisinghpura.Jathedar Sahib said that he felt immense pride and reverence while visiting the Central Degree College, Chittisinghpura. He stated that this college is not merely an educational institution but a symbol of faith, resilience, and the enduring spirit of the martyrs of the 2000 Chittisinghpura tragedy, where 35 innocent Sikhs were mercilessly killed outside the village Gurdwara Sahib.
Jathedar Sahib further said that Nanak Singh Ji, the living witness of that tragic day, continues to inspire the community with his courage and dedication. He appreciated the tireless efforts of National Sikh Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan, emphasizing that it was his vision, selfless service, and dedication that made this historic achievement possible.
He also acknowledged the exemplary contributions of the Chittisinghpura Sangat and leaders such as Giani Rajinder Singh Ji, Devinder Singh Ji (President, Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee), Pupinder Singh Ji (President, Youth Club), Ravinder Pal Singh Ji (Sikh Youth Welfare Society, Anantnag), Jaginder Singh Ji (Member, Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee), and Sital Singh noting that their perseverance ensured the realization of this college.
Jathedar Sahib stated that this college will empower generations of students, uplift Sikh families, and serve as a beacon of education, hope, and community pride. He blessed the students, teachers, and Sangat, and said that the Central Degree College, Chittisinghpura, stands as a lasting monument to sacrifice, devotion, and selfless service, inspired by the vision of Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan from Punjab, who has been working for the past three decades.
