Bela Pharmacy College Celebrates Rakhi with a Promise for a Better Future

The Rotaract Club of Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy BELA celebrated the Rakhi festival with a unique twist. College Director Dr. Shailesh Sharma tied rakhis to the students, symbolizing the bond of care and protection. 

In return, the students made three promises: to take care of their bodies by avoiding drugs and unhealthy foods, to protect the environment by preserving earth, water, air, plants, and animals, and to show compassion towards all human beings. 

The students enthusiastically promised to uphold these values, demonstrating their commitment to leading a healthy, sustainable, and empathetic lifestyle. Professor Navjit Kaur, President of the Rotaract Club, extended her heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Shailesh Sharma and all the students who participated in the Rakhi celebration, making it a memorable and meaningful event. The celebration concluded with a sense of unity and a renewed commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
