Anil Vij has given instructions to the DC to examine the standards of warehouses built or being built on GT Road from Ambala Cantonment to Shahabad

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij has given directions to the Deputy Commissioner of Ambala to examine the prescribed standards of warehouses built along the land adjacent to National Highway 44 (GT Road) from Ambala Cantonment to Shahabad, and also to investigate the road cuts provided from the national highway to access these warehouses. 

He has further instructed that a four-member committee be constituted and the investigation report be submitted to him within one month.Sh. Vij has given orders to inspect all warehouses that have been constructed or are under construction between Ambala and Shahabad. 

He has said that it should be investigated whether the construction of these warehouses follows the government's prescribed standards and guidelines, and whether CLU (Change of Land Use) has been taken from the concerned department or not.

Apart from this, Minister Anil Vij has also instructed to examine the road cuts given at different places from NH-44 GT Road to reach these warehouses. He said that it should also be investigated whether permission from the National Highway Authority was taken for these cuts or not.

For this investigation, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has directed the DC of Ambala to form a four-member committee. The committee will included the Project Director of the National Highway Authority, District Town Planner, SDM of Ambala Cantonment and  Executive Officer of the Municipal Council. Sh. Anil Vij has also directed that the investigation report be submitted within one month.

Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has also given instructions to prepare a cloverleaf model at Ring Road crossings

Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has instructed the DC of Ambala to prepare the cloverleaf model within one week at all major road crossings of the 40-kilometre-long Ring Road being built in Ambala. Sh. Vij has directed the formation of a three-member committee consisting of Project Director of the National Highway Authority, District Town Planner and the SDM of Ambala Cantonment.

He said that there is currently no provision to cross the Ring Road at the major roads, due to which there is a high risk of traffic jams and accidents at every crossing. He said that the three-member committee should inspect the Ring Road and prepare a report on whether a cloverleaf model should be implemented at each crossing. He has directed that this report be submitted to the DC within one week.
