Asking the state Congress to withdraw its support from government at the earliest, former deputy chief minister and senior PDP leader Muzaffar Hussain Beigh Tuesday said that Congress should give snap ties with National Conference if it wants to keep its remaining respect among the masses of the state.Talking to KNS correspondent, Beigh said that state Congress should display courage and withdraw its support from the government as early as possible.  “It is the Congress that said chief minister Omar Abdullah has left for London to play golf and if it is right than why the Congress continues to support such a government.”

The Parliament member from Baramulla said further that the chief minister of Bihar Nitesh Kumar resigned from the post of chief minister after suffering a rout during the Lok Sabha polls while as the chief minister Omar Abdullah continues to be in the chair. “The fact is that until people will drag NC from the government, the party will continue to remain glued to the chair”He said that if Congress is so keen about its honour and respect than it must withdraw its support from the coalition government.  “Congress wants to remain in power so that it could utilize its officers during the upcoming elections but if there is rigging, there will be bloodshed and mayhem on the streets.”

He said that the planning commission of India doesn’t provide any funds to the government at present as there has been no accountability of the same  within the state during the past over five years of the government. “On the eve on Eid recently, the government had no funds so that it could disburse the salaries to its employees and later loan of 300 crore was given by the shrine board at that time as JK bank has already been surrendered to the reserve bank of India.” Meanwhile, Beigh stated that Kashmir’s separatist leaders must think before making the boycott calls public as the same could hamper the formation of peoples’ government in the state.  (KNS)
