India calls off talks: Indian government’s decision ‘strange’: NC

The ruling National Conference (NC) on Monday expressed displeasure over the cancellation of talks at Foreign Secretary level between India and Pakistan.The senior NC leader and cabinet Minister, Ali Muhammad Sagar, told GNS that Pakistan envoy has been inviting Kashmir separatist leaders from last 15 years. “But, it is strange why India has taken decision of cancelling talks,” he said.Sagar said the talks between India and Pakistan goes in the favour of Kashmir and we always wanted dialogue between the two countries. “We want progressive talks but the decision is unfortunate,” he said.
