Union Minister of State for Cooperation,Krishan Pal Gurjar said that Haryana has made unprecedented progress over the past 11 years. He credited the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini for the successful implementation of numerous important schemes that have directly benefited the people.The Union Minister was addressing public meeting organised in Palwal today.
Comparing the previous Congress government’s tenure with the current administration, he said that until 2014, out of 6,700 villages in Haryana, only 600 had 24-hour electricity supply. Today, this number has increased to 6,000 villages. While the Congress government constructed 500 kilometers of highways in 10 years, the present government has built 5,000 kilometers within the same period.
He also pointed out that the current government has established as many medical colleges in 10 years as Congress did previously. Under the Congress, the montly old-age pension was only Rs1,000; today, it has been increased to Rs 3,000. Also, the Haryana government has decided to procure all crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), ensuring that farmers receive a fair price for their produce.
He further informed that the state government has prioritized rural infrastructure development, significantly improving connectivity in rural areas. Several initiatives have been launched for women’s empowerment, including the establishment of women’s colleges, nursing colleges, and the enhancement of salaries for Anganwadi workers.
Referring to other key accomplishments, he said that the government has taken significant steps to empower farmers through crop insurance schemes, assistance during natural disasters, and regulation of DAP fertilizer prices. He added that the compensation process for crop losses has been made simple and transparent to benefit the farmers.

In his address, Urban Local Bodies Minister Sh Vipul Goyal said that Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini is a leader whose words and actions are perfectly aligned. He is deeply committed to serving the public round the clock, resolving issues, and driving the overall development of the state. Under his leadership, Haryana has entered a new era marked by transparency, public participation, and a clear development agenda.
Expressing special gratitude to the people of Palwal, he said that despite challenging political conditions during the 2024 assembly elections, the aware and united citizens of the region delivered a decisive victory to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He emphasized that this win was not merely political but a proof to the immense faith and support the public has in the welfare policies of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini.
He added that Palwal is setting a new benchmark in development, with progress visible across sectors such as roads, education, health, sports, and industry. Sh Goyal urged the Chief Minister to prioritize the fulfillment of all announced projects and development works to honour the trust and hope the people of Palwal have placed in him.

While addressing the people, Minister of State Sh Rajesh Nagar said that before 2014, Palwal was considered a backward region. However, since current government came to power at both the center and the state, the landscape of this area has begun to change significantly.
Today, Palwal is progressing rapidly with new industries being established. The region is not only connected to the KMP Expressway but is also in close proximity to the Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway and Jewar Airport. In the coming years, Palwal is expected to benefit greatly from these key infrastructure projects.
He further stated that our government has given dignity and respect to those standing at the last row of society. Whether it is providing gas cylinders at Rs 500 through the Ujjwala scheme, distributing free ration to over 80 crore people, ensuring a roof over the head of every poor citizen, or offering healthcare services through Ayushman Bharat and welfare schemes for farmers, all these initiatives demonstrate that our government is fully committed to the upliftment of every section of society.

Minister of State for Sports, Sh Gaurav Gautam, while welcoming Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, said that this historic occasion is not only a matter of pride for Palwal district but also a significant milestone signaling the bright and developing future of the entire Haryana.
He acknowledged the unprecedented support the people of Palwal have shown under the Chief Minister’s leadership, highlighting how the electorate created new history by decisively defeating major contenders in the elections. This landmark victory in Palwal remains unmatched, with the Congress party yet to recover from it.
He said that while India continues to make steady progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, Haryana is also advancing rapidly on the path of development under the able guidance of Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini. He stated that the momentum of development in Haryana is unstoppable.
The Chief Minister, he said, is a true representative of the state’s 36 communities, committed to the empowerment of every section of society and the overall development of every region.On this occasion, Sh Gaurav Gautam also presented a demand letter to the Chief Minister outlining various development works required for the area.Several other dignitaries were also present at the event.
