Exhorting the electorate of Talwandi Sabo to differentiate between development and performance vision of SAD-BJP alliance and previous misrule of Congress Party, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal, president  Sukhbir Singh Badal said that  Development and Performance of last seven and half years  in Punjab has made massive strides in Power, infrastructure, administrative sectors besides maintaining peace and communal harmony in the state.Addressing jam packed meetings in Jewan Singh Wala, Chathewala, Natt, Jaga Ram Tirth, Mahi Nangal, Lalleana, Jajjal, Malkana, Phullokhari and Kamalu villages,  Mr. Badal said during the tour of this constituency,   he was convinced that people would recognize development, progress and all round prosperity. He said the SAD-BJP Government was looking after interests of all sections of society.Asserting that the SAD- BJP government stood for all round development, Mr. Badal said it was only a few months since the NDA government has taken over in the State but already Punjab was benefitting due to liberal funds being given to the State. 

Appealing to the voters to reward the SAD-BJP candidate to continue its development agenda in the area,  Mr. Badal   said,  "The State will see further development in the coming days and Talwandi Sabo will also gain once it elects an able leader in Mr Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu to lead it in the Vidhan Sabha",.  Mr. Badal added that the people are set to give "compulsory retirement" to Congress from the state due to its anti-people policies.   “The electorate has already made up their mind that they are not going to be swayed by the gimmickry of PPCC, president Partap Singh Bajwa and others and will honour the development vision of SAD-BJP government," said the SAD president.  

Terming former state Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh and current state party chief Partap Singh Bajwa as two sides of the same coin, Mr. Badal said both leaders had done nothing constructive and had only criticised the government, but the SAD-BJP alliance would continue working for the betterment of the state.Badal asked the people to disclose one development work undertaken by Captain Amarinder Singh as MLA  of Talwandi Sabo in 1985. He said forget doing any work, Amarinder Singh never even visited the constituency. "In direct contrast you have the Badal family led by Sardar Parkash Singh Badal which has always nurtured the area as their own", he added. He also promised to hold a series of Sangat Darshans after the bypoll to resolve all issues of area people.  SAD-BJP candidate Mr. Jeet Mohinder Sidhu, Cabinet Minister  Sharanjit Dhillon, besides SAD leaders  Mahesh Inder Grewal,  Mantar Singh Brar, Virsa Singh Valtoha, Amarjit Singh Sidhu  and area Akali leaders also addressed the election meetings.
