Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that "Pakistan has committed a cowardly act by disguising as civilians to kill our tourists, and this cannot be tolerated." He added that "The Prime Minister had clearly stated on day one that we will hunt them down one by one, and we will not rest until the mission is complete."

Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by media personnel in Chandigarh.

"Our power substations have a switch, and we will shut down electricity as soon as we get the signal" – Vij

Responding to a question about power shutdowns during the civil defense mock drill and blackout protocols, he said that "We are prepared for such situations. Our substations have a switch, and as soon as we receive a signal, we will cut the power supply."

Sh. Vij’s advice to Punjab CM – We must show unity during times of war

On a question regarding Punjab’s rigid stance on the water issue, Sh. Vij remarked that "Punjab should not adopt such an attitude during this time. A war-like situation is ongoing, and we need to show unity. I advise Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann to temporarily withdraw from this issue, he added."

"If Pakistan wages war, we will respond" – Vij

In response to Pakistan’s statement that it would give an appropriate reply to India’s attacks, Sh. Vij said that "Let Pakistan do what it wants, but we have not adorned bangles either. India possesses one of the strongest and most capable armies in the world. If Pakistan wages war, we will respond. we will give a fitting reply."

When asked about his “eliminate one by one” comment, he clarified: "Our goal is to identify and eliminate those responsible for cowardly actions, he added."
