AAP Govt's Education Reforms Transform Punjab Schools : MLA Sherry Kalsi Lauds Parent-Teacher Meet Initiative

Sh. Bhagwant Singh Mann, Chief Minister Punjab's far-sighted thinking is today visible in the field of education in the state. Revolutionary changes have taken place, due to which the standard of education in the government schools of Punjab has improved. 

These views were expressed by MLA Batala and working president of AAP Party Punjab, Aman Sher Singh Sherry Kalsi in the parent teacher meeting held at Government Primary and Middle School, Gokhuwal. 

Mrs. Rajbir Kaur Kalsi was also present on this occasion. MLA Sherry Kalsi said that 'Parent Teacher Meet' is such an initiative of the government which will help the students. There is all-round development. 

He said that by having parent-teacher meetings in schools, parents will be informed about every activity of their children. By gaining complete information, we can play an important role in the intellectual development of our children.

MLA Sherry Kalsi said that previous governments have always neglected the fields of education and health. Whereas the Aam Aadmi Party government has taken historic decisions in the fields of education and health.

MLA Sherry Kalsi said that there was a time when parents sent their children to government schools instead of they used to give priority to admission in private schools, but ever since the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in the state. 

Since the government was formed, due to the efforts taken to uplift the education sector, today many private students of the schools are taking admission in the government schools. He said that the Government has taken a unique initiative in the form of 'School of Eminence', where students Education is being imparted using modern methods and facilities for the students in these schools are provided. 

Modern equipment, excellent sports grounds, science labs and other facilities are also being provided. On this occasion, former D.E.O. Amarjit Singh Bhatia, Head Mistress Rekha Salhotra, Mini Sharma, Head Teacher Parvesh Kumar, Navdeep Singh Panesar Mandeep Singh Sheru, Gurpreet Kaur, Ram Krishan, Mandeep Kaur, Annu Priya Sharma etc. were present.
