Brahma Kumaris decorated Sri Laxmi Narayan's tableau on Diwali at Sukh Santi Bhavan

Diwali festival was celebrated with great fervor, love, enthusiasm  and in unique manner by the local  unit of International Organization of Brahmakumaris here today at Sukh Santi Bhavan Phase 7.  About 320  devotees and Rajyoga teachers fromMohali, Ropar, Kharar, Kurali, Nurpur Bedi, Morinda and nearby Rajyoga centers participated. 

Brahma kumari Premalta  in-charge of Rajyoga  Centres of Mohali-Ropar Circlepresided over the event and  they took pledge to relieve mental suffering and distress  of humanity through spiritual knowledge-Rajyoga and social service. Brahmakumars and senior Brahma kumaris in charge of various Rajyoga centers of this circle lit 321  candles on Diwali celebrations. 

Along with this, a Chetan tableau of Satyugi Maharaja - Maharani Sri Lakshmi - Narayan was also decorated. A very beautiful rangoli was also prepared at Sukh Shanti Bhavan. An interesting cultural program was also presented in this event. 

Brahma kumari Premalta  said in her blessings that on this festival, along with the cleaning done by removing the cobwebs of the houses, lighting the soul with the aim of cleaning the mind blackened by the cobwebs of jealousy, enmity, five vices, laziness and tension.  

By doing selfless service on Diwali, people's sufferings and differences should be removed and prayers. She emphasized that today there is a need to bring virtues like truth, obedience, patience, love, harmony, purity and contentment in life like Sri Ram and Sri Krisana ji, which can only imbibed with spirituality.

Co-Incharge  of Rajyoga Centers of Mohali-Ropar Circle, BK Rama  threw light on the many spiritual aspects associated with Diwali and said that we should  create  awarenessregarding menace of   drugs, cigarettes, opium, bhang, ganja, gambling, theft etc. in the society. and  renounce these bad habits on this  festival forever.
