Army Hospital (Research & Referral) {AHRR} is a tertiary facility providing state of art medical care to Armed Forces Personnel, veterans and their families from across the length and breadth of the country. In the quest for providing the best treatment to our brave soldiers, the institution is equipped with state of the art diagnostic facilities 256 multi slice CT, medical cyclotron and PET scan, and an advanced molecular biology laboratory. The cutting edge therapeutic modalities offered at AHRR encompass a wide canvas of 29 super-speciality departments. They include gamma knife surgery, deep brain stimulation and transplantation of organs like the kidney, liver, and the heart. In an endeavour to provide access to complex cardiac and vascular surgery procedures like beating heart cardiac bypass and endovascular graft placement to our brave soldiers, veterans and families a new 200-bedded CTVS centre is being opened shortly. 

AHRR, under the leadership of the Commandant, Lt Gen AS Narula is commemorating its foundation day with a series of events in consonance with its mission statement of providing service with hope. Mr Shivinder Mohan Singh, Executive Vice Chairman, Fortis Health care, and a renowned captain of the Indian Health care industry in India will be delivering an oration on 01 Aug 2014 on the topic of “Leadership challenges in Healthcare: Affordability Accessibility & Accountability”. The event will be attended by a bevy of dignitaries from the Armed Forces and invited guests from a broad range of disciplines with a stake in providing affordable healthcare of the highest quality in the nation. They include Air Marshal DP Joshi, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh, Adjutant General and Directors Generals of Medical Services of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
