MP Meet Hayer inaugurates projects worth lakhs at village Patti Sekhawan, Jhaloor, Sekha

Member of Parliament Mr. Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer today laid the foundation stones of projects worth lakhs at village Patti Sekhawan, village Jhalur and Sekha and also inaugurated new projects. Speaking at village Jhalur, he said that earlier as an MLA from Barnala and now as a Member of Parliament, he is serving the masses.
He said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab is on the path of progress. At village Patti Sekhavan, he laid the foundation stone for the renovation of the pond to be built at a cost of Rs 40 lakhs. He said that this project will help the villagers to get rid of smelly water and give them new lease of life.
Similarly, the foundation stones of projects worth Rs 10 lakh for village streets and drains, Rs 10 lakh for sewage disposal and Rs 5 lakh for construction of gym hall were laid.As per the guidelines of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Sarkar Tuhade Duaar camps are being organized at village level to enable people get government services nearer home .
Under this series camp was held at at village Patti Sekhwan today wherein MP Mr Meet Hayer visited. He inspected the camp and inquired about the services provided by various departments. On this occasion, he also talked about the issues raised by the villagers and assured that work will be done in this regard.
At village Jhaloor, he inaugurated the newly constructed Panchayat ghar building. On this occasion, while addressing the villagers, he said that the villagers can organize their house celebrations and other special occasions at the Panchayat Ghar, for which they will not have to face any problem.
He also laid foundation stone of Rs 50 lakh work for renovation of ponds, Rs 40 lakh for construction of roads and drains, Rs 15 lakh for construction of stadium shed, Rs 10 lakh for drainage of waste water, Rs 10 lakh for construction of veterinary hospital, laying of interlocking tiles on Kutia Road worth Rs 8 lakhs, Rs 8 lakhs for road leading to crematorium and Rs 5 lakhs for open gym hall.
At village Sekha, the MP inaugurated newly constructed panchayat Ghar. He also laid foundation stone of modernization of pond worth Rs 40 lakhs and laying of pipes and drains worth Rs 40 lakhs.
