Former Home and Health Minister of Haryana and MLA from Ambala Cantonment, Sh. Anil Vij said that today is the Shaheed Divas of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev Ji. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev Ji are still names that inspire us all. These names indicate that we did not gain independence easily, but through great sacrifices, and we should maintain and strengthen this country and make it strong.

Sh. Vij, on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, was interacting with the media persons after offering flowers at the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Ji at the Ambala Cantonment Secretariat. He said that on this day, the oppressive British government, which was so fearful that they executed hang Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev before the appointed time. 

Their martyrdom brought a wave of revolution and chants of victory to Mother India throughout Hindustan. Youth in homes and all of Hindustan started shedding blood, and it was because of this fear that on August 15, 1947, the British left India.

Before this, former Minister Anil Vij paid homage to Bhagat Singh's statue, offering flowers and chanting 'Inquilab Zindabad'. During this time, a large number of BJP workers also chanted slogans of 'Inquilab Zindabad'. On this occasion, apart from BJP leaders Rajiv Gupta Dimple, Vijendra Chauhan, Kiranpal Chauhan, Sanjeev Soni, BS Binda, Shyam Sundar Arora, Fakirchand Saini, Narendra Rana, Ram Babu Yadav, Lalit Chaudhary, Ravi Sahgal, Jasbir Jassi, Ajay Baweja, Satpal Dhal were present among other BJP workers.

Meanwhile, media persons asked to Kejriwal's statement that he is not resigning from the chief minister's post, on this former Minister Anil Vij sarcastically responded, saying that first there was Vidur's policy, then Chanakya's policy, and now there is Kejri's policy. Kejri's policy says that his leaders should work in a way that they end up in jail, and the government should be run from within the jail.
