Top dentists attend FDP program at RBDCH

The Faculty Development Program (Continuing Dental Education Program) "Pedovention” was conducted by the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital (RBDCH) in the college campus. Faculty attending the program earned 6 CDE points granted by Punjab Dental Council. Such programs are regularly organized by RBDCH for Faculty Development (FDPs) under the leadership of Principal Dr Akshey K Sharma.
The attending registered future dentists also get the opportunity to enhance their educational skills during their ongoing study and stay in the college itself. Dr Umang Jagga, Head of the Department, and Chairperson of the program, invited renowned experts from the field of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Ashima Goyal, Head of the Department from PGIMER, expressed her gratitude to Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra for taking such initiatives for the educational development of faculty and the students.
Dr Gauba, Dean of the Faculty of Dental Sciences, BFUHS and former HOD from PGIMER and former Director Principal Dr HSJIDS, PU, congratulated RBDCH for rising and witnessing its growth from the day of its inception to achieving a name in dental education. Dr Suma Sogi HOD from MMCDR, Mullana, wished the participants good luck for achieving new goals in future.
Invited Guest Speakers Dr Ramesh Ram Fry, HOD from SDDHDC, Barwala and Dr Deepti Jawa Singh from DJDC, Modinagar, demonstrated different techniques to be used in the management of dental anxiety among kids, adults and children. He also dwelt on different pediatric emergencies and gave insights into maxillofacial surgical interventions.
Dr Akshey K. Sharma, Principal, Dr Mandeep Kumar, Dr Ramandeep, Dr Anurag, Dr Deepak Bala and Dr Sandeep Garg (HODs) welcomed and honored the guests and speakers by presenting saplings and momentos. Dr Neena Mehta, Dean of Academics of RBDCH, proposed a vote of thanks. Certificates were presented to the organizing team members for their contributions in the success of the program.
Dr Raman Sandhu managed the event with her experienced stage management skills. Rayat Bahra University Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice-ChancellorDr Parvinder Singh, lauded the initiative of the RBDCH authorities in organizing such events to enhance the professional knowledge of the faculty and the students.

ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਡੈਂਟਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਪੈਡੀਐਟਰਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੀਵੈਂਟਿਵ ਡੈਂਟਿਸਟਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ (ਕੰਟੀਨਿਊਇੰਗ ਡੈਂਟਲ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ) ‘ਪੀਡੋਵੈਨਸ਼ਨ’ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡੈਂਟਲ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ 6 ਸੀਡੀਈ ਅੰਕ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ ਅਕਸ਼ੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨਿਯਮਿਤ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਡਾ: ਉਮੰਗ ਜੱਗਾ ਨੇ ਪੈਡੀਐਟਰਿਕ ਡੈਂਟਿਸਟਰੀ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪੀਜੀਆਈਐਮਈਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ: ਆਸ਼ਿਮਾ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਐਮਐਮਸੀਡੀਆਰ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਾ: ਗਾਬਾ, ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਆਫ਼ ਡੈਂਟਲ ਸਾਇੰਸਜ਼,ਬੀਐਫਯੂਐਚਆਰ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਜੀਆਈਐਮਈਆਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਐਚਓਡੀ ਨੇ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਡੈਂਟਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਐਮਐਮਸੀਡੀਆਰ ਮੁਲਾਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸੁਮਾ ਸੋਗੀ ਐਚਓਡੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਟੀਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਡਾ: ਰਮੇਸ਼ ਰਾਮ ਫਰਾਈ, S44843, ਬਰਵਾਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਐਚਓਡੀ ਅਤੇ 4J43, ਮੋਦੀਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਾ: ਦੀਪਤੀ ਜਾਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ, ਬਾਲਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬਾਲ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਕਸੀਲੋਫੇਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਸਰਜੀਕਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਾ: ਅਕਸ਼ੈ ਕੇ. ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਪਿ੍ੰਸੀਪਲ , ਡਾ: ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਡਾ: ਰਮਨਦੀਪ, ਡਾ: ਅਨੁਰਾਗ, ਡਾ: ਦੀਪਕ ਬਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ: ਸੰਦੀਪ ਗਰਗ (ਐਚ.ਓ.ਡੀ.) ਨੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਆਰਬੀਡੀਸੀਐਚ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਡੀਨ ਡਾ: ਨੀਨਾ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਲਈ ਆਰਬੀਡੀਸੀਐਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
